The Order of the Arrow (OA) is Scouting’s National Honor Society, recognizing Scouts who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. At Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan, Lodge 40 carries forward this proud tradition of brotherhood, cheerfulness and service.

OA Lodge 40 Introduction

Lodge 40 has been part of Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan’s history since 1929 and it one of the oldest Lodges in the USA, fostering leadership, service, and cheerful spirit among Scouts. Through ceremonies, service projects, and fellowship, our members uphold the values of the OA.
